Something to think and pray about this week
How do you know what is life-giving and what is not? How do you privilege what is good? It is not always clear what has to do with God and what has not. It is as serious a misconception to think that everything that is pleasant, fine and gentle has to do with God, as it is to think that what is complicated, difficult and heavy cannot be good. Facing your weaknesses, for example, is often difficult and heavy, and yet in many cases self-acceptance brings God closer and comes with an increase in trust and charity.
