Young voices in Lent

Four young adults - all in their twenties - spoke to Eileen Good about what Lent means to them. They recall their earlier impressions and what the season means to their peers. Owen (a teacher in Dublin who spent time last Summer working in Ethiopia with the Vincentian Lay Missionaries), Maureen (originally from County Wexford, is an architect working in Dublin), Magda (from Poland works with the Electricity Supply Board) and Eric (a Phillipino is as senior nurse in one of Dublin's busiest hospitals) are now part of the Micah Community in Saint Peter's Church in Phibsboro. The Micah Community is an initiative of the Irish Vincetians. It takes Micah 6:8 as its inspiration, "Act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with your God."
